Buckholts' Students Shine at the 2013 State Track Meet
Kade Cowan Wins a 1st Place Medal in the UIL State Track Meet!
Kade Cowan won the 800M Run with a personal best of 1:59:48 in a very exciting race. Kade was challenged on the final stretch by another competitor's "kick" and the two young men brought the crowd to their feet by sprinting in an almost side-by-side struggle with Kade surging ahead at the end to take the win.
Sara Cowan Placed 5th in the 300M hurdles with a time of 50:11
Kade Cowan Placed 6th in the 1600M Run with a personal best of 4:48
Buckholts is very proud of these two and all of their achievements. They have worked exceptionally hard and dedicated themselves to being the best they can be. We are all impressed with their accomplishments and look forward to their senior year with great anticipation.

Election Update
The preliminary results from the May 11, 2013 school board election are in.
Pam Crowe, Ed Peeler, and Samantha Marrs are returning to seats on the board.
We extend congratulations to them and to Leslie Lorenz who will be joining them as a new member.
School Safety Update
We will be changing some procedures in order to improve the safety of the school.
