Every year,the Texas Education Agency, produces high quality reports on school performance at the state, district, and school level. A large portion of the information used in these reports is not available from the source agencies or organizations until several months after the close of the school year.
The reports are useful to our schools by giving us an aggregate look at the student success and achievement we see on a day-in-day-out basis. It helps us compare ourselves to other districts to see how we might learn from the successes they are having. It gives us more proof why we believe there´s no better place to learn than with us.
